José Alberto Rojas Peralta (Born Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, September 27, 1990), known musically as Kiko el Crazy, is a Dominican rapper. He was awarded at the 2023 Premios Juventud, 2022 Heat Latin Music Awards, Premios Tu Música Urbano. He has collaborated with Arcángel, Will.I.AM, Zion y Lennox, Farruko, Darell, El Alfa, Noriel, CJ,Jowell y Randy, Rochy RD, Ñengo Flow, Ozuna.[1][2][3][4][5]

Career[edit]

At the age of ten he started music, because he learned to play some musical instruments. Two years later, when he was 12 years old, he decided to take guitar lessons to expand his knowledge. In 2008 he was influenced by the late rapper MonkeyBlack. In 2009 she released the single "Un to pa to" which was popular in his hometown, Los Mina. In 2011 he was nominated as a composer at the Casandra Awards in the Dominican Republic with the song "Prende la hookah" performed by Tulile.[6][1]

[7] In 2019, in collaboration with Rochy RD, he released the debut single "Trucho", which garnered more than 29 million views on YouTube. In that same year he participated in the remix "Bajé con Trenza",[8][9] in collaboration with Ozuna, and El Cherry Scom, an audiovisual with more than 16 million views on YouTube, later he released the debut singles "Bájale[10]" with Omy de Oro, "La Pampara[11]", "Sube la Bocina[12]'' in collaboration with Shelow Shaq, La Manta, El Cherry Scom, El Pope, Lolo en el Micrófono", "Vengan To[13]'' in collaboration with Amenazzy", "Asicalao[14]'' in collaboration with Noriel", "Tic Toc" », «Popi», «Fue por Ti», «Yo Doy Nota»

[15][16] In 2020 he released the remix of the debut single "Popi[17]" in collaboration with El Alfa, Farruko, obtained more than 7 million views on YouTube. In that same year he released "Ruta", "Ojos de Caramelos" , "Quiero Fiesta" "Taína with Lary Over" and "The Quarantine is Over, with Jowell and Randy", "Como Eh", "Caserio with Luar la L", "Give me that with Lenny Tavarez". In 2022 he released the singles "Busca un Culo, con El Alfa", "Comandante con Randy, Braulio Fogon", and song "Soy Domi".

In 2022 he released the studio album "Llegó el Domi", which includes collaborations with Ñengo Flow, Farruko, Darell, Arcángel, Wiliam, Zion y Lennox, Jowell and Randy, Nicole Franco.212223 In that same year he released "No Face No Case" with the American rapper, CJ.[18][19][20][21]

[22] In 2023 he released the second studio album "Pila'e Teteo", which includes collaborations with Bulin 47, El Alfa, Flow 28, Angel Dior, Yaisel LM, El Fother, Chimbala, Mala Rodríguez, El Yala, Braulio Fogon, Treintisiete, Jon Z, Monkey Black, Yomel el Meloso.[23]

In February 2023, Rojas Peralta participated in modeling at New York Fashion Week.[24][25]
