Krishna Bhakta Bramhacharya (Nepali: कृष्ण भक्त ब्रम्हचार्य ) is a well-known retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) of the Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal, who has also been an independent candidate for Parliament from Lalitpur Area No. 3. Bramhacharya has over 11 years of military and 19 years of APF service experience, which he has used to foster positive relationships with diplomatic agencies throughout his career.

Early life and education: Krishna Bhakta Bramhacharya was born on April 27th, 1969, in Lalitpur M.C.-22, Bungmatie, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal. He completed his Master's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Trichandra College, Kathmandu. He has also completed more than 20 professional courses related to the UN to further enhance his skills.

Career: Bramhacharya began his career in 1990 as a commissioned officer in the Nepal Army and achieved the rank of Lieutenant. Over time, he was promoted to command positions at various levels, including country, battalion, training schools, brigade, and departments of organizations and UN missions in the Warton zone. He has been involved in various operations related to natural disasters and calamities, where he demonstrated his expertise and experience.

Bramhacharya's experience in bringing peace to the process of political disputes and disarmament during the promulgation of the New Republican Constitution demonstrates his long-standing experience and expertise in this field. He successfully commanded the settlement of a critical political conflict involving high-ranking political leaders and detainees in Bhaktapur in 2002.

Throughout his career, Bramhacharya has been involved in various social activities, including work with agro-industry, NGOs, security companies, and commodity trade. He served as the GTO of the officer's selection process from 2004 to 2019. Currently, he holds various positions, including Chairman of Hira Laxmi Agro Farm Pvt. Ltd. and Alan Foundation, a non-government organization (NGO). He was also Chairman of Rapid Action Security Services Pvt Ltd. Additionally, Bramhacharya has invested in real estate and hydro power projects in 2021. He played a lead role in public awareness and capacity building activities around the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Honors and Awards: Krishna Bhakta Bramhacharya has been honored with decorations and awards from national and international organizations. In 2002, he was honored with a Letter of Appreciation from the US Embassy in Nepal. He has received commendation certificates from the UNMISS police commissioner, the Inter-School Sports Association in Liberia, and other national and international organizations.

Personal Life: Krishna Bhakta Bramhacharya is married and resides in Lalitpur, Nepal.
