Laurocapram is an organic compound with the molecular formula C18H35NO, colorless transparent viscous liquid, almost odorless and tasteless. It is extremely soluble in anhydrous ethanol, ethyl acetate, ether, benzene and cyclohexane, and insoluble in water. It is a kind of absorption promoter, and is one of the most effective absorbers for both lipophilic and hydrophilic substances.
