- Comment: "Her father is of Italian descent, which is why Luna loves everything to do with Italy," is NOT encyclopaedic content. " She is keen on music, dance and show business." is a chatty comment more suited to a magazine article. Theroadislong (talk) 17:44, 22 November 2023 (UTC)

Biography
[edit]Musical career
[edit]In 2019, Luna won "Deurne's Got Talent", where she competed with a ballet choreography performed by Loes Verschurenlmker from the Loes Ballet and Dansstudio Loes Academy in Deurne.[1]
In 2021, Luna auditioned for the 11th season of The Voice Kids and eventually participated in the program. But this season of The Voice Kids has not been aired.[2]
In 2022, she became a participant of the Junior Songfestival, and after various audition rounds Luna was chosen as a soloist.[3]
The song "La Festa" was specially written for her, with a reference to her Italian roots.
"La Festa" was written and composed by Robert Dorn, this popular songwriter was responsible for previous Dutch Junior Eurovision entries such as "Around" by Julia van Bergen (2014) and "Best Friends" by Unity (2020).[4]
On September 24, 2022, she stood alongside the finalists "Mixed Up", "Infinity", and "HIGH5" in the live final of the Junior Songfestival at Rotterdam Ahoy. Luna received the maximum of 12 points from the professional jury, consisting of Chantal Janzen, Flemming, and Glen Faria. She also received "douze points" from the children's jury and the maximum number of votes from the audience, securing her ticket to the international final in Yerevan, Armenia.[5][6][7]
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 took place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.[8] The final was on 11 December 2022 and she performed the first. Her song "La Festa" was highly estimated by jury and audience. She received 128 points in total and became 7th among 16 participants.[9]
In 2023 Luna continued to perform, participate in Junior Songfestival activities and recorded 2 new songs: "Mysterie" and "Pico Bello".
In the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 she was the Dutch spokesperson (a person who announces the results of the Netherland’s jury).[10]
In 2024 Luna introduced a new single "Balliamo".
