MF «Munken» is a 130 PBE hybrid ferry built at Myklebust Verft LLC in 2018.[1]
The hull was built at Montex Westerplatte in Gdansk, and towed to Myklebust Verft for fitting out and finishing.
MF "Munken" was handed over to FosenNamsos Sjø LLC in November 2018[1], and put into operation on the Flakk–Rørvik connection together with it's sister ship MF «Lagatun» (2018), as well as MF «Trondheim» on 1 January 2019.
