Mad Beats Records is an independent record label founded in 2020 by David Losuk. The label was created with the mission of providing a platform for upcoming musicians, particularly from Uganda and Africa, to showcase their talents and bring their music to a wider audience.[1]

History

Mad Beats Records was conceived during the founders' time in P.7 (equivalent to grade 6) in Uganda. The idea was inspired by the talent of a friend who lacked the necessary resources for promotion. Despite the founders' eventual separation, David Losuk pursued the vision of Mad Beats Records, officially establishing it in 2020.[1]

The leadership team at Mad Beats Records includes David Losuk as the Founder and CEO, Azonia Ivan as COO, and Peter Mwesigwa as Head of Scouting and Artists. These individuals play a pivotal role in the label's operations and its efforts to promote underground talent.[2]
