Draft:Martin Scheufler

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Martin Scheufler was a Silesian organ builder at the second half of century. Known for his pipe organ in Breslau (Wroclaw). Scheufler built the instrument in 1600 with 36 stops. The organ was located above the pulpit in the main nave, worsening in condition over its life time. After 122 years of use, it was eventually dismantled in 1722, parts being reused in the great pipe organ of Johann Michael Röder, which was completed in 1725 with 56 stops.
