Metalachi is a Mexican-American heavy metal mariachi band. Now based in Hollywood, California, the band originated in Juarez, Mexico[1]. Band members Vega De La Rockha, El Cucuy, 'Queen' Kyla Vera, Paco Halen, Nacho Picante and Warren Moscow learned to play mariachi music as children, and were inspired to blend the style with heavy metal after listening to Paranoid by Black Sabbath[2]. Their act blends heavy metal songs with traditional mariachi instrumentation.
