Comment: I agree with David. Being a Fellow of a notable institute if far way going to meet WP:ANYBIO and WP:NPROF, but after removing the uncited content, the article will closer to full blanking. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 13:01, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Unfortunately you have gone way, way too far with added content. Vast amounts of this do not belong and are unverified, for instance the "best papers" and being an RA as just two examples. The whole "Notable papers" section should be removed. You need to make a clean, dry article before it is considered further. Ldm1954 (talk) 19:31, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: The IEEE Fellow is a clear pass of WP:PROF#C3, but after removing some promotionally-written text there isn't much left of an article here, some citations are missing, and we aren't making good use of the Wired source to say anything substantive about him. Mohsen Guizani holds the position of a Professor of Machine Learning at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is an applied artificial intelligence scientist and an IEEE Fellow.[1]. Guizani is acknowledged for his notable contributions in various areas including smart city and smart services applications, internet of things, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and wireless communications and networking.
Education
[edit]Mohsen Guizani earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, along with an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science in 1990, 1989, 1987, and 1985, respectively.[citation needed] Before his tenure at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, he held positions at various institutions, including the University of Idaho, Western Michigan University, the University of West Florida, and the University of Missouri (UAS), as well as Qatar University, Kuwait University, and University of Petroleum and Minerals (Gulf Region).[citation needed]
Research
[edit]Mohsen Guizani's research focuses on diverse areas, including smart city and smart services systems and their applications, machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms, wireless communications and networking systems, cybersecurity, and smart renewable power. His research output comprises over one thousand articles in books, peer-reviewed journals, and conference proceedings[2]. Financial support for his ongoing research initiatives is provided by the Mohamed bin Zayed University, the Technology Innovation Institute, and the Qatar Foundation.[citation needed]
Guizani takes a leadership role in various projects related to smart city and smart services, incorporating AI/ML applications and wireless communications and networking. Notably, he initiated the launch of a new journal with Wiley[3][4] and currently serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the IEEE Network[5]. Additionally, he is actively involved in the Editorial Boards of numerous IEEE Transactions and Magazines[6], holding the positions of Senior Technical Editor for the IEEE Network[7] and Advisory Board Editor for the IEEE Internet of Things Journal[8]
