Muhammad Mostafigur Rahman (Bengali: মুহাম্মদ মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান) also known as Mustafiz Mamun (Bengali: মুস্তাফিজ মামুন), is a Bangladeshi photojournalist based in capital Dhaka. Senior photographer at bdnews24.com, Mamun is an avid traveller. The passion for travelling around pulled him to the world of photography. Specialising in travel photography, Mamun also writes about his tour experiences for different newspapers and magazines. He has published three books so far.[which?] His photos have been showcased in several exhibitions home and abroad.[which?] He has bagged a few prestigious global awards.[which?] A political science postgrad from Dhaka University, Mamun obtained a one-year diploma at Pathshala South Asian Institute of Photography. An experienced photographer for 15 years, Mamun dreams to represent a positive image of his country.
