Mylan Eric Benjamin (born 21 September 2004) is an football player who plays for EFL League One club Barnsley. Born in England, he represents the Montserrat national team internationally.
Club career
[edit]After playing for the Under-18 squad of Barnsley, Benjamin signed his first professional contract with the club on 10 July 2023.[1] He made his debut for the senior squad on 26 September 2023 in a EFL Trophy game against Manchester United U21, as a last-minute substitute for Theo Chapman.[2] On 17 May 2024, Barnsley announced that he will be released from his contract when it expires on 30 June.[3]
International career
[edit]Benjamin made his debut for the Montserrat national team on 5 June 2024 in a World Cup qualifier against Nicaragua at the Nicaragua National Football Stadium. He substituted Brandon Barzey in the 80th minute as Nicaragua won 4–1.[4]
