POE GPON ONT is the ONT which can provide the power to the device which need to be powered, such as IP camera, IP phone, wireless AP and other network devices. These devices not only be powered ONT ethernet port, but also their data can be transmitted by the GPON network.
Standard:
[edit]The POE GPON ONT also called PSE ONT. It supports IEEE802.3af 15.4W or IEEE802.3at 30W POE standards. The POE GPON ONT can auto discovery the power receiving devices which support IEEE802.3af/at standard and supply power to it.
Ports:
[edit]Generally, the POE GPON ONT can provide 4GE 10/100/1000Mbps POE[1] ports or 8GE POE ports. There is also the ONT which can support wifi.
