- Comment: The first section is missing sources, while the second uses a YouTube video (usually not reliable). Also, some of the wording should be made more neutral and objective (see WP:PEACOCK). Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 21:57, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

He was apart of co-founding the esteemed Mikoyan military aviation design alongside his notable companion, Artem Mikoyan. With their bond, they had created fascinating contributions to the evolution of military aircraft during the Soviet era.
History
[edit]Russo-Ukrainian War
The settlement of Rubanshchina has gained attention in recent years due to its involvement in the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War. On 8 August 2024, it was officially reported that Rubanshchina had come under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during a significant military operation known as the 2024 Kursk offensive. In a swift and calculated response to this development, the Ministry of Defence (Russia) had initiated defensive actions to repel Ukrainian assaults in the vicinity of the nearby settlement of Oleshnya, Kursk Oblast on 13 August 2024.[1] Additionally, a Ukrainian T-64BV tank was reported to have been actively operating within the boundaries of Rubanshchina during 8 August 2024.[2]
