- Comment: The URL for ref 1 & 4 - the only one which seems to be independent & about the venue - seems to take us to somewhere other than the expected story.Other than that, there is only this one broken reference contributing to WP:GNG. So that's a big problem. THe many other refs do not evidence notability. Tagishsimon (talk) 13:25, 29 December 2023 (UTC)
The Truman is a concert hall and event space located in the Crossroads neighborhood in Kansas City, MO. Originally built in the 1930s, it was transformed from the site of a former auto parts facility, Sterling Bearing, into a venue for music and events.[1][2][3]. The venue features a large main hall, a separate bar and lounge at the main entrance, an open-air patio, and a second-story VIP area with views of downtown Kansas City while overlooking the main room and stage. Notably, the venue's exterior boasts a distinctive light blue color chosen through a contest, contributing to its unique identity in Kansas City[4].
Notable Performances
[edit]The Truman's inaugural show on September 16, 2017, featured rapper Tech N9ne, a Kansas City native[5]. Since then, The Truman has hosted a wide array of national touring acts and local musicians. Some of the notable performers and events that have graced the stage at The Truman include:
Management
[edit]The Truman is managed by Marathon Live, a Nashville-based company which also manages other midsize venues, including The Signal in Chattanooga, TN, Marathon Music Works in Nashville, TN, The Hall in Little Rock, AR, and The Hawthorn in St. Louis, MO[18]
