Vinoj P. Selvam is an Indian politician and a entrepreneur from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is one of the State Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tamil Nadu.[1]

Early and personal life

Born on July 7, 1986, he is the son of Mr. Panneerselvam whose native is Radhapuram,Tirunelveli.  Vinoj P Selvam did his schooling in Chennai from D. A. V Higher Secondary School. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Ambedkar Law University, Chennai.

Political career

Vinoj P Selvam embarked on his political journey at a young age, joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2007 when he was just 21.[2]

From July 2007 to December 2009, he served as the General Secretary of the South Chennai District Youth Wing, demonstrating his organizational skills and passion for grassroots engagement. Following this, from January 2010 to July 2012, he became a member of the Youth Wing State Executive Committee, assuming responsibility as the in-charge of the Chennai Division. From July 2012 to July 2015, he took on the role of Youth Wing State Secretary, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the youth agenda within the party. This was followed by his tenure as the Youth Wing State General Secretary from July 2015 to June 2016.

In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections he contested on behalf of the BJP from the Harbour Constituency and secured 31% of Votes.[3] [4]

He contested in the 2024 Indian Lok Sabha election on behalf of the BJP at the Chennai Central Constituency.[5][6][7][8]
