notability[edit]

Aside from being a statutory chair (there are so few of these in Oxford --- about 200 among thousands of world-famous faculty, see the page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Statutory_Professors_of_the_University_of_Oxford ), I have included the source from the Spectator. Apparently the existence of this chair was notable enough to be covered (and criticized) by the Spectator. Schnorlibrot (talk) 04:59, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed the access to the Spectator article by linking to a web archive that does not have a paywall.
