Drama Studio London (DSL) is a drama school based in Ealing, London, England, United Kingdom. It is a member of and accredited by Drama UK.[1] The current principal is the actor and director Chris Pickles.[2]

The school was founded in 1966 by Peter Layton out of the need for a new, more realistic approach to actor training that took account of the professional requirements and demands of the theatre for which the students were being prepared.[3]

DSL offers both a One and Two Year Diploma in Professional Acting Course.[4] Degrees are awarded through additional academic study undertaken and issued by Middlesex University.[5] From September 2016, the school will offer a Three Year (BA) Hons in Professional Acting validated by De Montfort University. [6]

The school theatre is called The Grange Court Theatre. In 1995, Friends of DSL, under the Presidency of Dame Judi Dench, was established in order to help provide scholarships for future students.
