Edward L. Beck, C.P. is a Roman Catholic priest and member of the Passionist congregation. He is the on-air Contributor for CNN on issues of Faith, Religion and Ethics. He is the author of three books, the executive producer of The Sunday Mass,[1] on the ABC Family Channel and on various local affiliates nationally. He has been a Media Contributor on matters of Faith, Ethics, Morality and Religion for ABC News, CBS News, Fox News, CNN, HLN and MSNBC. He co-hosted FOCUS ON FAITH with Chris Cuomo (now of CNN) for ABC News. Beck also leads retreats and workshops on spirituality both nationally and internationally.

In addition Beck is a writer and developer of mainstream television, theater and film projects. His first play, Sweetened Water, had a staged reading starring Vanessa Williams and Amy Brenneman at Playwrights Horizons theater in New York in January 2015 and then its first full Equity production in the summer of 2015 at Martha's Vineyard Playhouse in Vineyard Haven, MA.

He currently resides in New York City.[2]
