Elina Samantaray, also known as Ray Elina Samantaray, is an Indian actress and model. She started her career with Ollywood movie Ishq Tu Hi Tu. She is winner of the first season of "Kie Heba Mo Heroine" program which was telecast on Tarang TV.[1][2] Her film Kabula Barabula ... Searching Laila released on Dussehra 2017, was Blockbuster and gained huge popularity as a lead actress in Ollywood. She is currently pursuing Master's Degree at Utkal University. [3]
Biography
Elina was born in Bhadrak, Odisha and currently staying in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She has completed her schooling in Rourkela, Odisha and Graduation from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. She came to Ollywood industry after got a break from Talent hunt show named as "Kie Heba Mo Heroine". The very first movie Ishq Tu Hi Tu was not Blockbuster movie where she made debut with Ollywood star Arindam, released on 2015.
She appeared in Love Station in which she starred alongside Babushan in 2016. The film received a good response and a major commercial success at the box office. Later in the same year, she appeared in Jhia Ta Bigidi Gala which received mixed critics from the audience.
Apparently, she worked with Ollywood Mega star Anubhav Mohanty in Abhaya (film) and Kabula Barabula ... Searching Laila in 2017. Both the films are Blockbuster hit and she received positive reviews for her performances. In Oct 2017, She signed her next untitled film with Sarthak Music production to pair against Sabyasachi Mishra in lead role, directed by "Ramesh Rout".
Her Next film is Happy Lucky with Jyoti Ranjan Nayak, Sambeet Acharya and Sasmita (Winner of Kie Heba Mo Heroine Season 3) will be released in the New Year 2018.

Elina Samantaray own her 1st Odia Filmfare Best Actress Award of the Year 2017 for her Extra ordinary role in the movie Abhaya (film).
