Empress Xia (Ming dynasty)

Empress Xiaojingyi (1492–1535), was a Chinese Empress consort of the Ming dynasty, married to the Zhengde Emperor.
She was from the district Sang-yuan (in present Nanking). In 1506, she was selected to become the first consort and empress of the emperor. She had no issue. When her spouse died childless in 1521, he was succeeded by his cousin Jiangjing. She was given the title Empress Chuang-su. [1]
