Excel Dryer is a East Longmeadow, Massachusetts based manufacturer of hand dryers. In 1997, Denis Gagnon bought the company and realized that many people disliked hand dryers for its long waiting time. In collaboration with Invent Resources, the Xlerator was created to reduce the time to dry hands.[2] In 2011, Excel Dryer has become a Top Level Industry Partner of the American Society of Interior Designers.[3] Excel Dryer's products have also been approved for LEED v4 credits and other green building standards.[4]
