Explorer Elementary Charter School is an independent public school in San Diego, California, United States. It was founded in 2000. Explorer’s stated mission is "to create caring, confident, lifelong learners in a compassionate learning community that respects and values the different interests, abilities, learning styles, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds of [each child]". In 2005, Explorer joined the family of eight charter schools managed by the High Tech High charter schools organization.

Explorer uses the Social Emotional Learning curriculum.

Explorer has been recognized as a Distinguished School by the California Department of Education and as a Best Practices School by the San Diego Urban League.

Explorer is located on the grounds of the former Naval Training Center San Diego at 2230 Truxton Road, San Diego, CA 92106.
