The Fairbanks Flats are located in Beloit, Wisconsin. In 1983, they were added to the National Register of Historic Places.[1]

The flats were built by Fairbanks-Morse to house the rush of African Americans moving to the area from the Southern United States, offering safer living conditions and good wages.[2] Fairbanks-Morse had increased production after the outbreak of World War I.[3] The flats remain in use as residential buildings.
