SAP Fieldglass is a software company providing a cloud-based Vendor Management System (VMS) to manage services procurement and external workforce management programs. Its platform helps organizations transform how they manage talent across multiple channels – including contingent workers, Statement of Work-based consultants, independent contractors and additional flexible talent pools – helping them to achieve total workforce visibility, maximize cost savings, improve worker quality and enforce compliance.

It is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

History

Fieldglass was founded by Jai Shekhawat in November 1999.[3] It was acquired by SAP in 2014 and is now a subsidiary.[4]

In 2017, SAP Fieldglass was recognized in The Forrester Wave™: Services Procurement, Q1, 2017 Report by Forrester Research, Inc., as a leader among services procurement providers. Forrester evaluated SAP Fieldglass against 40 criteria three main categories: current offering, strategy, and market presence.[5]

As of early 2018, SAP Fieldglass was deployed in more than 180 countries and 21 languages, with offices in Chicago, London, and Brisbane.
