Image title	This image shows Air Marshal Stuart Atha - DCom Ops - presenting Air Vice Marshal Ian Duguid - AOC 11 Group - with a framed 11 Group crest at the 11 Group stand-up ceremony.On Thursday the 1st of November 2018, 11 Group was formerly stood up by Air Marshal Stuart Atha CB DSO MA BSc RAF - the Deputy Commander of Operations for the RAF - at RAF High Wycombe. He handed control to Air Vice Marshal Ian Duguid OBE who will now act as Air Officer Commanding 11 Group from within Air Command.To start the event, Sergeant David Lawrence, a Flight Operations Training Flight Officer, delivered a captivating speech on the history of 11 Group, giving knowledge on why it is so appropriate for the task at hand in today's modern RAF. Following this, Reverend (Gp Capt) Andrew Wakeham-Dawson, the Deputy Chaplain in Chief Personnel, also addressed the audience and blessed 11 Group. Speeches were then delivered by AM Atha and AVM Duguid.11 Group's Mission Statement is - 'To plan and deliver air and space effects, synchronized and integrated with cyber and information activities, in support of Defence outputs.'
