Although the image was published in 1913, copyright laws in Hungary from 1884 specified a protection term of life of the author plus 50 years. Máté died in 1961, thus the photograph would not have been in the PD in 1996 in Hungary and is not eligible to be freely distributed until 2032 (as current copyright is 70 years after the author's death). It is the only photograph of the subject which has been located.
