| Description | 2D image, exported from a 3D model, of a building that once existed, until 1976, on the now demolished RKO Studios backlot called Forty Acres. The building was used as a film set and appeared on the popular television series The Andy Griffith Show as the location for Floyds, a fictitious barbershop that apperared routinely throughout the series’ run. The building also appeared on Star Trek in a 1967 episode entitled "The City on the Edge of Forever", in front of which characters Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Edith Keeler (Joan Collins) walked hand in hand by the radio repair shop and grocer. In the same scene was Floyds barbershop, which was to the right of the music repair shop. |
