Official seal of the Staten Island Borough President's office, as adopted in 2016.

The woman in the foreground represents the City of New York, with her sword pointed down and two doves on her shield to indicate peace. Henry Hudson's ship is seen in the background approaching from the mainland and between the two is a rowboat with three men harvesting oysters, one of them being a Lenape native, the others Dutch sailors, symbolizing cooperation and New York's collective heritage.
