Description

Svenska: SKÅL. Liten skål med ljust gråblå, opak, glasyr på brädden tunn med godset genomlysande, dessutom med strimmor av blått, inuti en blå fläck; täckande in- och delvis utvändigt (Jun glasyr). Godset är grått, på ytan mörkbrunt med märken efter drejning. Inköpt av Wilhelmina von Hallwyl 1911 hos Bukowskis konsthandel, Stockholm. Pris 60 Kr.Jungods tillverkades framför allt i Henan och södra Hebeiprovinsen.Processen fasseparation vätska-vätska, vilken tidigare inträffat av misstag, användes avsiktligen för att producera de effektfulla strimmiga opalblå glasyrerna. Där glasyren flutit ut i ett tunt lager, på mynningen ochfoten, lyser det mörkare godset igenom.Jun ware bowl. Yuan dynasty (1279-1368)Jun wares were chiefly made in Henan and southern Hebei provinces. Liquid-liquid phase separation, that had ocurred accidentally in earlier times, was used on purpose to produce their spectacular, sreaked, opal-blue glazes. Where the glaze ran thin on the mouth anf foot the dark stoneware body showed through.
