Summary
[edit]Diagrams of spacetime, in the three rest frames involved in the Twin paradox, with (Previous version: .)
I preserved all of the events O, A, B, C, D, E in WWoods original diagram, only changing the velocity of traveling twin from v = c/sqrt(3)≈ to v=0.6. But I added a second world-line (XYEZ) for a hypothetical destination "space-station" for the traveling twin, and events (F,G) on the "Earth's" worldline.
Events O, A, B, C, D are as discussed at[1][better source needed]
New events: F (Event on Earth seen by traveling twin during turnaround) G (Observation of turnaround on earth) X (Event seen on space-station from earth at time of launch) Y (Launch observed from space-station) Z (Landing observed from space-station)
The fourth "in-between" frame has been converted from what appears to be a Loedel diagram with nonorthogonal x and t axes, to a Minkowski diagram drawn for an "in-between" velocity
