I checked in HABS and find this disputed image is actually a Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) image, which is in the public domain. Fair use arguments need not be required. The HABS image is located here.

How should this be remedied?

Should simply the licensing on this low-quality image be revised (how)?

I could upload the original high-quality HABS photo properly (and after cropping it for better appearance).
- If so, upload it to a new name or replace this one?

What else should be done, who to notify, where to post the change, etc?

I added HABS information and asserted Public Domain licensing on the image page, hope that is the right way to process this. Please advise if not. doncram (talk) 09:47, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
