This chart would b3e more useful if it divided the bicameral countries into those with a strong upper house (e.g. US) and those with a weak upper house (Germany, UK). 205.201.246.166 (talk) 20:44, 21 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

There is a problem with the file linkage. The URL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Unibicameral_Map.svg shows a map with, for example, Libya in black. But if you click on this image/map, the "full resolution" map-- http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d7/Unibicameral_Map.svg-- shows Libya in orange and Saudi Arabia in black, among other differences. Whichever is right or more up to date should appear with both links. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.129.44.17 (talk) 18:46, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate content

[edit]

Some of the content is not accurate. Botswana has a unicameral legislature, the House of Chiefs is an advisory body and not a house of Parliament. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.35.57.63 (talk) 19:56, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yemen and Oman should be switched

[edit]

As shown on the List of legislatures by country, Yemen has a unicameral legislature, the House of Representatives (Yemen), while Oman only has two advisory bodies to the Sultan. However, the colors on the map indicating this are switched. Yemen should be orange, and Oman should be black to match Saudi Arabia. Dralwik|Have a Chat 19:33, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Is Madagascar correct?

[edit]

Madagascar is coloured black on the map, but according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_Madagascar is has a senate and a national assembly.--Timtranslates (talk) 12:59, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fiji

[edit]

Fiji's Parliament is unicameral since last year. See the current Constitution, and the article Fijian general election, 2014. Aridd (talk) 09:49, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
