"Flesh and Bone" is the eighth episode of the reimagined Battlestar Galactica television series.

Plot

A Cylon is captured on the Gemenon Traveller and Starbuck arrives to interrogate the Cylon, who identifies himself as Leoben Conoy. Leoben claims to have hidden a nuclear bomb that will detonate in nine hours. Starbuck tortures him to learn its location until President Roslin, spurred on by recurring nightmares, intervenes in the torture and apologizes to him. Leoben tells Roslin that he had lied about the weapon and predicts that the fleet will find the legendary planet of Kobol. He then grabs her and whispers, "Adama is a Cylon." Roslin has Leoben vented into space. Understanding that Leoben was afraid that his soul will not make it to God, Starbuck later prays for his soul, even though she is unsure that he had one.

On Galactica, Boomer has Dr. Baltar test her with his prototype Cylon Detector. Baltar discovers that she is, indeed, a Cylon. However, he lies to her, fearing that revealing the truth will turn on her Cylon programming and get him killed.

On Caprica, Helo and that copy of Boomer continue to run from the Cylons. Unknown to Helo, Boomer is now genuinely on the run with him after disobeying orders from the other Cylons to lead him on.
