François Nicolas Fagel

François Nicolas Baron Fagel (3 February 1655, Nijmegen - 23 February 1718, Sluis) was an infantry general serving the Habsburg Netherlands. He was a nephew of Gaspar Fagel and was noted for his part in various French defeats at Fleurus in 1690, Mons, siege of Namur, Ramillies and Malplaquet. He also fought in the Portuguese army and took part in the capture of Valencia and Albuquerque.
