Frank Hulme-Moir

Francis Oag Hulme-Moir (30 January 1910 – 10 March 1979) was the 7th Anglican Bishop of Nelson [1] whose Episcopate spanned an 11 year period in the mid-20th century.

He was born on 30 January 1910,[2] educated at Sydney Technical High School and ordained in 1937.[3] He was a Chaplain to the Australian Armed Forces from then until 1947[4] when he became Archdeacon of Ryde. In 1954 he was ordained to the episcopate. Later he served as coadjutor bishop and Dean of Sydney.[5] He died on 10 March 1979.[6]
