Gabrielle Simpson (born 17 October 1992)[1] is an Australian netball player.[2][1] She was part of the Australian squad that won silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.[3] Simpson received the Liz Ellis Diamond Award, one of the highest accolades an Australian netballer can receive and was named vice-captain of the Australian national team in 2017.[1] She has been an active player at the Queensland Firebirds since her domestic league debut in 2013 and was later elevated to position of team captain.[1][4][5]

She was selected in the Australian Diamonds squad for the 2018/19 international season.[6]
