Gajanur is a village in Erode district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is the birthplace of Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar. It comes under Thalavadi Firka of ThalavadiTaluk. It is 1 km from the town of Thalavadi, of late it has become one with Thalavadi, except for a stream (Chikkahole) separating them.

It is abutting the Sathyamangalam wildlife sanctuary (Thalamalai ranges).

Gajanuru is located 4 km from the Tamil Nadu - Karnataka border. It is 25 km from Chamarajanagara, the southern most district headquarters of Karnataka. It is located 120 km north west of Erode and 56 km north west of Sathyamangalam

Jora Hosur is located 10 km from the Tamil Nadu - Karnataka border. It is 25 km from Gundalpet taluk, 120 km north west of Erode and 62 km north west of Sathyamangalam.
