Galong is a closed railway station on the Main South railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It served the small town of Galong. The original station opened in 1877 however was replaced by a new station on a deviation which opened in 1916. Galong was the location of the junction of the branch railway to Boorowa, which closed to passenger services in 1974. The station consists of two side platforms with station buildings which, although closed to passenger services, survive in good condition.[1] The station and surrounds have a heritage listing as "one of the finest country examples of buildings from this period".[2]
