George Valentine Nash

George Valentine Nash (May 6, 1864 - July 15, 1921) was an American botanist. Employeed by the New York Botanical Garden, Nash did field work in the Bahamas, South Florida and Haiti.

He published Costa Rican Orchids (1906) North American Flora (1909)

The standard botanical author abbreviation Nash is applied to plants he described. Nash Park in Clifton, New Jersey is named after him.
