Branislav Nusic

Yes, as I said, I removed that info from Nusic's article because I couldn't find any reference to it (I have Pripovetke, though 1965. edition, and also The Autobiography).

I also couldn't find it at Google. However, now I searched again, and found several references that his born name was Alkibijad. So I will put that back in. Nikola 12:51, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)

No idea about his father's name - if he was tzintzar it probably wasn't Djordje? So I have just removed the name until a clear reference is found. Nikola 12:56, 12 Sep 2004 (UTC)

:) --pokrajac 16:27, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Sr Wikipedia

  • Hallo once again! Do you realy cant speak Serbian, or this is just because we are on English Wikipedia? --pokrajac 12:28, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
  • Hi. My English is not so good, and sorry for that. I think that is better for us to communicate on Serbian Wikipedia on Serbian language. I think that it will be verry useful for Serbian language to translate some articles from en. Wiki to sr. All best, --M. Pokrajac 21:10, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
  • See your discussion page on sr. Wiki. --M. Pokrajac 23:00, 13 Feb 2005 (UTC)
  • Hi. My English is not so good.
      • Thanks for Linea, hvala :), jos jedan pozdrav i kratki odgovor.

I am sorry I made edits that may have upset a labor of love for Dejan. Izvini, nisam zeleo da te uvredim. However, I felt that it was necessary for the following reasons - first of all, there's plenty of grammatical errors and things clumsily translated from Serbian. I clumsily tried to make improvements myself :-) Secondly, there isn't enough explanation for someone of non-South Slavic descent what the essence of Nusic's work was. "He wrote in a saritical tradition". OK, what was this tradition? What was it that he did?! What was so special about him? This is left completely unsaid. There's not enough info on that, and too many details on his private life. A non-Serbian speaker just won't "get it". Just my two cents. Srdacno, Milan.

Re: HZ

I'll try to have a look at it when I finish reading the updates from my 3788-page watchlist... :) I've reverted a couple of obviously broken edits, but obviously there's much more to go... --Joy [shallot] 14:52, 1 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Otkud ti da je paprika madjarskog porekla? Daj mi, molim te, linkove. --Millosh 06:23, 7 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

--Millosh 22:36, 9 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that I have disputed the neutrality of this article. Jguk reverted my NPOV template, claiming that the NPOV dispute is just a personal campaign of one person. Whig 09:38, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Serbian portal

As the amount of material somehow connected with Serbs and Serbia on Wikipedia grows, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to form a SCG/Serb portal, so that all the articles about famous Serbs, Serb history, the Serb republic etc are more closely interlinked. This would also provide the casual reader with a easy to use encyclopaedia of everything they could wish to know about RS, SCG, the Serb diaspora etc. At this stage I'm just gauging the amount of interest out there for this. If you support тхис идеа, and want to help out, then just drop by my talk page -- estavisti 20:01, 12 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Prime Ministers of Serbia

Thanks for expressing your support for cleaning up diacritics. Could you help out and add diacritics to the long List of Prime Ministers of Serbia? Presumably this is rather straightforward for somebody familiar with Serb names—I would have to painstakingly google all candidates. —Naddy 14:32, 19 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Russian tsarinas

regarding the names of tsarinas of Russia: if from abroad, they changed their first name, such as Wilhelmina became Natalia Alexeievna, etc. Now, Wikipedia has certain rules that the so-called consort name is not to be used, because of several persons being e.g Empress Maria Fedorovna. And that a pre-marital name should be used. But I feel that it is acceptable to make a formulation "Natalia Alexeievna of Darmstadt" (the "of Darmstadt" being for disambiguation purposes) instead of using "Wilhelmina of Darmstadt". Now, as there are plenty of Germanist and anglicist opinions, I would like to know some of international opinion. In other words, I am asking you to think whether from the perspective of non-Russian Slavonic, (1) would it be acceptable to say "Natalia Alexeievna of Darmstadt" and (2) would that be better or worse than "Wilhelmina of Darmstadt". 62.78.105.68 08:50, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

n.b. This is an ongoing policy discussion, and several other options are on the table as well as the ones suggested above. Please consider visiting this talk page and endorsing one of the options, or adding one of your own. Thanks! Choess 01:05, July 22, 2005 (UTC)

Please stop removing content and pictures without discussing them. Why you removed "German standing offer of 100.000 German Marks in gold for Mihailovic capture" picture and "Announcment about the execution of 150 Mihailovic’s supporters"? That is not POV, that's HISTORY.
