Germanodactylidae is a group of pterosaurs within the suborder Pterodactyloidea. While its exact placement and content are controversial, studies performed in the 2000s have suggested it contains three genera: Germanodactylus, Normannognathus and Tendaguripterus. Various studies have placed the group within the larger clades Archaeopterodactyloidea or Dsungaripteroidea,[1] though it has also been recovered within the Ctenochasmatoidea.[2]
