Gerry Hassan (born 1964) is a Scottish writer, academic and research fellow in cultural policy at the University of the West of Scotland,[1] where he completed his doctorate.[2] He is an associate for Demos[3] and OpenDemocracy.[4] Gerry Hassan is a columnist for the British national daily newspaper The Guardian on topics and issues related to the United Kingdom, particularly Scotland.[1]
