Gewirk (also Gawerk or Gewrek) (Persian گورک) is a Kurdish tribe and dynasty in Kurdistan. The Gawerk dynasties live in these cities : Urmia, Sardasht, Mahabad, Saqez, Bokan, Van province in Turkey, Erbil, and Salmas.[1]
