Ghazi is an Indian bilingual Submarine based war film[1] directed by debutant Sankalp.[2] The film is being simultaneously made in Hindi and Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil.[3][4][5] It will be partially based on his own book Blue Fish.[6] The film stars Rana Daggubati[7] and Taapsee Pannu[8][9] in the lead along with Kay Kay Menon,[10]Satyadev Kancharana,[11]Atul Kulkarni, Priyadarshi Pulikonda,Rahul Singh and Akshay Mittal.[12] The film is based on the true incidents on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan Submarine by destroyer INS Rajput (D141) during the Bangladesh Liberation war.[13][14][15] The film shooting started on 3 January 2016.[16][17] PVP Cinema is producing the film.[18][19] Karan Johar will distribute Ghazi Hindi version.[20] The music is composed by K.[21] Ghazi is scheduled for a worldwide release on 24 February 2017.[22]

Plot

The story is about an executive naval officer of the Indian Submarine S21[23] and his team who remain underwater for 18 days.[24]
