Gilberto Benetton (born 19 June 1941) is an Italian billionaire businessman, one of the co-founders of Benetton Group, the Italian fashion brand. In May 2015, Forbes estimated the net worth of Gilberto Benetton, and each of his three siblings, at US$2.9 billion.[1]

Personal

Benetton is married, with two children, and lives in Treviso, Italy.[1] He was inducted into the Italian Basketball Hall of Fame, in 2012. This was due to his contribution to the sport of Italian basketball, while he was the owner of the Italian professional basketball club Treviso Basket.
