Joseph Leonard Gilles Lupien (born April 20, 1954 in Lachute, Quebec and raised in Brownsburg, Quebec) is a sports agent and retired Canadian ice hockey defenceman.
Career
Lupien started his career with the Montreal Canadiens in 1977. He would also play with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Hartford Whalers. He would win two Stanley Cups with Montreal in 1978 and 1979. Gilles is one of professional hockey's top agents, representing such stars as Steve Bernier, Corey Crawford, and Sean Couturier, and formerly representing Roberto Luongo. Gilles has a fan club that was started in 1977 and continues to operate today. The club held their 30 year reunion in Jaffray, BC in September 2007.
