Got That Dope, SkipOnDaBeat, Murda Beatz, Foreigngotem, Hitkidd, Cassius Clay, Digital Nas, the Legendary Traxster, 2K, Nyan, Star Boy, and Supah Mario. Life's a Gamble serves as the follow-up to Rich the Kid's previous album, Boss Man (2020), as well as his collaborative mixtape with Lil Wayne titled Trust Fund Babies (2021).
Release and promotion
[edit]In January 2024, Rich announced that he had a new album on the way and announced its title the following month.[1] He added that Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign executive produced the album. Their single as ¥$, "Carnival", which features Rich and Playboi Carti, was initially on early versions of tracklists of the album as the last track before being ultimately removed.[3][4][5]
On May 24, 2024, Rich released the album's dual lead singles, "Gimme a Second" and "Band Man", the former of which features Mexican singer Peso Pluma.[6] An sequel and updated version of the former single, which added Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign, was released on June 21, 2024.
