Gro Skartveit

Gro Skartveit (born 24 August 1965) is a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party.

She was originally a member of the Christian Democratic Party, but left in 2001 after she came out as a lesbian.[1]

She served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Rogaland during the term 2005–2009. On the local level she has been a member of Stavanger city council,[1] and is a member of Rogaland county council.[2] She is also a member of the board of the Western Norway Regional Health Authority.[2]

She hails from Finnøy.
