Hani Furstenberg
Hani Furstenberg (Template:Lang-he; born September 14, 1979) is an Israeli-American actress perhaps best known in Israel for her work in the films Yossi & Jagger and Campfire and in America for her role starring alongside Gael Garcia Bernal in The Loneliest Planet.[1]
Early life
Furstenberg was born in Israel but moved to New York City when she was six weeks old and lived there until her family returned to Israel when she was 16.[2]
Career
In Israel, Furstenberg first gained notoriety for her role as Lilach in the TV drama The Bourgeoisie (HaBurganim) and has since starred in numerous Israeli plays, television series, and feature films. Furstenberg has become known in the United States and elsewhere for her performance in the award winning film, The Loneliest Planet.[3] Furstenberg made her Broadway debut in December 2014 playing Fraulein Kost in Cabaret.[4][5]
Personal
Furstenberg currently lives in New York City with her husband.[3]
