Hannah Cheesman is a Canadian actress, writer, director, web series creator, and producer. She is known for writing, producing, and starring in the award-winning web series Whatever, Linda (2014–present).
Career
Cheesman has starred in several short and feature films, including Ingrid Veninger's low-budget independent film The Animal Project (2013), which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. She is also the writer and director of award-winning short films Cheese, Brunch Bitch and Emmy, and has worked in the writers room of Orphan Black.[1][2]
Whatever, Linda
In 2014, Cheesman co-created, wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed web series Whatever, Linda. For her work on the series, she received several awards, and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance in a Program or Series Produced for Digital Media and for Best Original Program or Series produced for Digital Media.[citation needed]
Whatever, Linda is now currently in development with Mark Gordon and Orphan Black creator Graeme Manson, with Cheesman slated to co-create, write, produce, and potentially star.[3][4]
